"I composed this song during quarantine after doing a series of improvisational exercises on the recorder over a drone. I became increasingly fond of this melody that developed in these exercises, and this song was the end result of its development. I also chose to feature these instruments because we had a merry band of porch musicians in this configuration during quarantine." - Larkin Sanders
